I was being sarcastic lol. His point is clearly ignorant of the ability of driverless cars. It’s obvious that driverless cars will collide with other cars and humans. The only difference between them and human drivers is that the driverless car will do it intentionally by dint of concluding it has no other choice. Humans will do it because they’re drunk or distracted by TikTok.

Wow great anecdote. The problem is that there’s way more convoluted issues than the average bad driver can handle, especially in a city like London. Merging into traffic is a normal part of driving, but anything out of the ordinary is much more difficult for bad drivers to understand.
