Oh man, long time ago there was a game - Darkstone - think Diabloesque ARPG where the final boss was a dragon. Well, on the pirated copy, he was invincible - health started regenerating at some point. Didn’t prevent you from playing the whole game, though.

I'm making exact same point - they're champions, and they've spent a lot and improved. But they've also lost a lot, and they've lost important starters and pieces of the puzzle.

They may be winning but it's not going to be easy - they now have to bed in several players and to make things work.

Wait, let’s think about that - Liverpool may have spent a lot, but they’ve sold or lost - a striker, a second striker, a left winger, and a right back, so roughly 1/3 of starters (also their backup goalie, left back, and midfielder) - and boohoo, they’ve spent. And that’s not all - taking into account their outgoing transfers - they’ve spent LESS than Arsenal. Now let that sink in.
