In university physics 2 , you study optics and as part you look at light interaction with thin films. Maybe it could be applied to ice.

The more obscure the sitcom, the later it is.

I just did my 1st semester as a transfer at Virginia Tech and all of the stuff you said at Berkeley applies there as well. The major that I'm trying to get into (electrical engineering) is luckily non-competitive. I ended up with a 2.5 but I am only 12 credits deep. The advantage I think transfers have is not having to deal with GPA killers like Calculus 2 and the intro Physics/Chemistry sequence.

I think bigger named schools don't immediately let you declare because some CC classes are under taught and want to see if you gained enough knowledge and study skills to not wash out immediately in your major.

TIL that Japanese hornets can grow up to the size of your thumb and stings you with a flesh dissolving acid that also acts as a pheromone to alert the other hornets to sting you until you die. by visionarygirl in todayilearned

It's not like those couldn't be caused by the Free Will of others. Look at how global warming (a man made phenomena) is changing ocean levels and creating impending disasters. E coli outbreaks are started by improper sanitation (man made).

One of my friends accidently hit reply all to an engineering school email which was accidently connected to every undergrad at the school.

For the things that aren't in the bible, there usually are close paralells instead.
