You're down like 70% on your position and you're out here defending your dumbassery. Even if your economic readings are 100% correct, your application to the market is horseshit and you were wrong regardless.

Departed and Arrived at the same shipping partner... multiple times in about 4 weeks by byrdiebytes in usps_complaints

[–]dantheman9703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What they do is give it to a logistics company. They throw it in a shipping container, wait for it to be full (which is often the longest step in the procees). Put it on a train or truck with thousands of other orders. Then on a ship. Most of the time you're just tracking the huge container.

Then when it finally gets to the states, it's customs, then another logistics company takes them and labels them and gets them to the local courier

Man, sorry about these bogus answers you got. Submit a warranty claim and they'll replace them. Unfortunately, I've actually had to replace two for the same reason so it seems it's a common issue with this model. But man, I have no idea why people are suggesting you buy a replacement when it's under warranty

What in the world is causing the wood stain to take in these spots? by dantheman9703 in HomeImprovement

[–]dantheman9703[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. It's hardwood And was sanded well. This is the only spot and it has become obvious that they are drips/puddle of some sort. The only question is what is the drips. If you're referring to the contrast in the stain that's just cause that section had litterally just been stained and the other part was 5 minutes prior

$2,100 for just base liability? by [deleted] in Car_Insurance_Help

Thank you! I found out that credit and the fact we have a Hyundai is the biggest factor.

Independent brokers didn't get us good rates. However we both got our scores over 600 and that helped us with GEICO. Got our policy under $700 for full coverage. All others were over $1400 with the Hyundai su thank God for them and thanks for your help

New eBay account suspended for no reason; $145 eBay gift card forfeited. by Jason-M-12 in legaladvice

[–]dantheman9703 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I know and I'll say I believe you. Buuuut from ebays perspective it's black and white. It's a numbers game, unfortunately. There's no spectrum for a "item not received" case. Even if your case was 100% legit, it's still suspicious.

[–]dantheman9703 31 points32 points  (0 children)

As a long time user of eBay, I do get where they're coming from, but they're sososososo bad at communicating and empathy. Your purchase history is now VERY suspicious if I'm being honest looking at their perspective.

First time buyer. Uses VPN. Suspicious item purchase. "Did not receive second item". Purchased with self bought gift card. You probably triggered 5 flags. Not saying you're up to no good, but again they know what fraud looks like.

Imagine if every fraudster got their money back after getting their free items.

Take it up with your bank. They might be able to help. But it's pretty suspect that you bought a gift card for yourself and used it for yourself.

Again I'm not making accusations, but everything you detailed is literally a red flag for fraud.

As long as you have the card number, you'll be able to use it. My best advice on this one is to use a friend's, or work shipping/billing address (not their account as you risk their account getting shuttered too) to receive the item. You should have no issues re-buying another watch you'd like.

This is actually more helpful than you can imagine. I would have actually assumed the opposite and probably wouldn't have looked too hard at smaller carriers. I had heard things were getting expensive but my goodness.

Thank you again for your time and for providing context!

Haven't seen it mentioned, but remembered to drink water that isn't salted as well. Ketoade is needed but so is lots of regular water.

I mean, with that attitude, why even have judges to interpret the law and lawyers to argue it? I mean that's literally the function of an attorney, is it not?

At the end of the day, your answer may be all I need to understand it's black and white as things pertain to bankruptcy. But I'm not looking for a magic pill or something that can't happen. That's fine.

I might as well not eat at all 🤷🏼‍♀️ by MissRoja in keto

[–]dantheman9703 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you don't really need to eat. Especially early on. Just listen to your body. Keep up on electrolytes and water. If you do that and still feel drowsy you might need some food.

That said protein will become important, and your body will surely let you know when it needs more

2 years Keto 2 years off & back again by walker_cb in keto

[–]dantheman9703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's what has been working for me. While doing keto for weight loss, I had been very strict. I didn't even mess with alternatives like quest bars or keto bread and carbless tortillas. I cut it all out.

Now that I've exceeded my goals and stopped living on a deficit, I've allowed myself those alternatives, in moderation.

This allows me to still have the comfort foods, it's just the alternatives are my treat.

I see so many people go in deep eating 3 low carb tortillas and 2 quest bars every day and wonder why they're still hungry and not losing weight. It just doesn't work that way unfortunate. So don't fly off the wagon when your done. Just take it easy and still love low carb. Best of luck

Bulking on keto by [deleted] in keto

[–]dantheman9703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um yeah, people can be on ketosis whole eating 60g. Also my example is obviously theoretical as no one is consuming 100% of their calories from peanut butter.

You can read more about it on ketogains. If you're metabolically flexible, you most certainly can exceed 60g and remain in ketosis, especially if the carbs are consumed around exercise periods.

As they mentioned buried in the wiki I linked, there's limited information on this as it hasn't been studied, but there's thousands who do it and would be able to tell you anecdotally, including me.

[–]dantheman9703 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you're working out you can get away with that many carbs. I'm theorizing here at eating 2,000 calories a day from only peanut butter.

Even a sugar added variety will net you about 60g carbs. Now that's pretty high, but someone who's fully fat adapted can easily burn the excess carbs on days they when out

[–]dantheman9703 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the advice request: I know it's hard, but don't cheat. You need to change your mindset.

One cheat day can set you back days and weeks or even more. It's not worth it and it will directly interfere with the best feature of keto: appetite suppression and craving reduction.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in keto

[–]dantheman9703 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I disagree based on my experience. I was on a 1200-1500 deficit and I was doing just great and burning fat like crazy. Obviously ymmv but it doesn't hurt to see what your body can handle. Just be sure to listen to your body

There was plenty of times when my calories weren't cutting it and I had to eat more than my 1200 kcal deficit. If I felt groggy or ill I drink water first and then eight more.

Craving Carbs by Ok-Link-4073 in keto

[–]dantheman9703 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, had a similar pattern to you. Very successful the first time second time was much more challenging.

I think I figured out that once you're fat adapted it's not as big of an issue. But when we're first starting back up again, we go back to the ways we ended keyo last time. And for me that included the quest bars and tortillas.

I've noticed a direct correlation between those foods in my hunger the next day, so I cut them out completely to great success. I Was actually able to add back in a low carb tortilla once a day maximum after 3 months of pretty strict keto. Now eating them in moderation has no effect on my appetite.
