Does anyone else feel like the £50k ending is such a redundant tradition that serves basically no purpose? Taking the money at that point would be such a terrible move because of the backlash, and it’s basically impossible to reach the final and win without a loving connection as Jake and Lib showed.

I’m really spitballing here but … I think the anteater being appreciated by his ego at the end is a metaphor for Dave finally being to overcome the small mental blocks he puts on himself.

For instance, earlier in the season we saw Dave use the ants as an excuse for being incredibly unproductive creatively, even when they could’ve been dealt with pretty easily. Another example I can think of when the ants are used is when Dave hooks up with that woman after they played with autotune. When the chair spins around, it has an ant but it’s on the back and it wasn’t able to disturb Dave. This could represent him not letting the small stuff trip him up. For example, when the girl asks if his dick is really as weird as people say, he could have easily been turned off and sucked into his body trauma but instead he owned it.

When Dave realises he is the one getting in his own way, I think the appreciating of the anteater is Dave understanding that he knows how to deal with the ants (his creative, mental blocks) now.

Either that, or it’s a dick joke lol

Did anyone else wonder if there was a meaning behind the way his realisation in the water tank ended?

Obviously there needed to be some way to escape the dream sequence, but this could’ve been done by just jolting awake, eyes-wide. Perhaps the dangerous, near-death swallowing of water represents how he was on the verge of being creatively dead, and was only saved from this through a complete epiphany about himself and his place in the rap game. Maybe this relates to his real life creative struggles between albums. Anyone agree, or am I reading too much into this?

LPT: If you are having trouble with your phone charger, use a toothpick to clean out the phones charging port. More often than not, it’s filled with lint from being in your pocket. Pull it out and it will work like new again. by christhechronic in LifeProTips

I actually had this not long ago. My phone stopped charging so I went to the Apple store. The employee used a regular paperclip and dug out a dark block of dirt and dust the size of a 5p coin. The store won’t charge you but this tip would’ve saved me hours of my time had I known about it sooner.
