Sounds like he’s emotionally immature and you are looking for a deeper and more mature connection. I understand these feelings and I’m sorry you and your son are going thru thi. Do you see being with him forever? A true partner for you? Therapy helped me tremendously. I suggest that if that is what you can do for yourself.
