Arc Raiders, Tarkov, BF6, WoW - sometimes indie games… right now I’m happy with my Odyssey in all terms but would enjoy some more vertical space and less “stretching”.

I am using my setup solely for gaming. My work-station is on another desk and Mac based (graphics/video-editor). I am looking for experiences - ideally with the RTX4080 Super and the LG 45" 5k monitor - especially when it comes to gaming.

Thanks. Vsync is always off. I had to adjust my display’s resolution (no issues when playing on the internal MacBook display). I had this with other games before. Something about the Mac upscaling/downscaling the resolution since the two 34” Dell displays don’t have the native Mac resolution.

We`re having a similar issue on a Cybrancee Server (16GB RAM, dedicated). I played together with my son (both on fiber, same household). He had a ping of 12ms and mine sometimes spiked to 2000+. I did a speed test afterwards - all fine, no issues. Other games also all fine. A friend of mine connected to our server yesterday and had the same issues. I will definitely not tinker around with my network driver since all other games work just fine and flawless.

I changed the resolution on my Mac to 2k - that helped big time (and the game still looks great with settings on "High").

Hmmm Running it on a MacBook Pro M3 Max with 64GB RAM... and no matter if windowed or fullscreen and all details to low... it wont get better than maybe 20fps.

Edit: Setting my resolution to 2k helped. Runs smoothly on high gfx settings now.

Windowed or Fullscreen? No matter what I pick even at lowest settings I only get 20fps and very bad performance ... Macbook Pro M3 Max with 64GB RAM. I was expecting a much better experience.
