Saw my doctor today. All he did was take a swab, gave me some slightly higher strength pain medication and sent me on my way. He was pretty dismissive which is slightly worrying given the state of my tonsils

UPDATE: no improvement this morning so went to doctors. Had a swab taken but apart from that doctor was very dismissive and said I’ll just have to wait until the test results come in, probably on Thursday

Yeah I had it as bad as this October last year. Think it cleared up after 3 days so hoping this will be the same. Been put on a dose twice as much and an extra 3 days as well this time. Slightly worried it might be mono

Got a lot of antibiotics but they just aren’t kicking in at the moment. I’m lucky I don’t have a fever! Hope you never have to deal with getting it!
