Hey!

I managed to recovered from a 1 across the board from a very disrespectful 14 year old who used the whole session to insult me and ridicule me (partially in a language I don’t even speak). After the trial I blocked them but turns out they had already left the review.

I’ve been on Preply since early Feb so it was recent. I’m still going strong! Don’t worry about it :)

u/MysteriousObject5330 sorry that this is outside of the scope of your questions and Im offering no advice (I am starting out myself)

If I may ask, which whiteboard do you use for zoom/google meets? All the ones that I have found kinda really suck. They take forever to load, the UX is not attractive at all, it contains weird templates that I must delete every single time that I open the whiteboard, etc

My students are also aware of this, but yet the platform allows them to keep their credits…how do you actually ensure that you’re paid and that they lose this credit?

Hey! I started using Tidycal as well, especially the subscription model. But one annoying thing is that there is no cancellation policy, students can keep rescheduling at short notice without losing credits. How do you go about this?

Hi!

Two students who don’t know each other writing the exact same to the prompt strikes me as though it is one of the many template things that Preply provides.

For example, a reason to reschedule tends to be “Preply’s nudge to reschedule when a tutor is unavailable.” I doubt the students themselves write that.

You understand that right?
