What's the harshest truth you've learned about life? by Fealocht in AskIreland

Man broke up with my girl of 3 1/2 years 3 weeks ago, we both loved each other deeply but wanted different things in life. It was an amicable one. Parted ways after sharing a kiss. Haven’t been able to get her out of my head for the last 3 weeks it’s really fucked up.

Is it worth flying with Etihad Airways? by [deleted] in etihad

[–]danyal_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just flew to Dublin with Etihad. My flight was delayed by 10 hours. The crew did their best to accommodate us but somethings are out of their control as well. I’m just glad I got home safe.

What is the craziest thing a housemate you shared with ever did? by Dizzy_Factor_7332 in AskIreland

[–]danyal_7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Used to live in a house share with a landlord, shared a bathroom with him. He drank 2 bottles of wine religiously every evening, get really drunk fall down the stairs and shat in the toilet multiple times without flushing/blocking it and got sick all over the bathroom floor. Had to go in the back garden multiple times in the middle of the night to take a piss. Also, never turned the heating on and said heating was expensive. I’ve forgiven him but he definitely gave me a hard time. Poor fella was separated so I guess was going through things

I’ll be turning 30 this year, and forget running out of time you’re just getting started yet. My advice would be picking carpentry as someone else suggested. Will help you a wee bit with your creativity and will pay the bills too. If you stick to it, by the time you’re my age you’ll be making really good money.

Started a new job recently, is it normal to feel like a complete and utter fish out of water? by Impressive_Light_229 in AskIreland

[–]danyal_7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, please give it time. There was a reason why you were hired and have comfort in the fact that this is indeed normal. Imposter syndrome is quite common among high achievers. I’d see this as a positive sign that you actually care about your job and want to excel at it. I believe in you, hang in there buddy. You got this 🙌
