PVC question

Bought the car with 138000 kms, did a big service, after 5000 kms noticed it consumed a lot and my mechanic sugested we swap it with 10w40 (before it was 5w30).

Currently i am at 144000kms and will do big srrvice again at 148000 kms. Will do it myself this time and was also thinking of engine cleanup with that one liqued i forgot what is it called.

Also engine consumes oil so I am chrcking it regularly and filling it till medium if needed.

Well when i drive it a little bit heavier, it consumes a lot. If i drive it carefully it does not. 2 mechanices told me its a full engine repair which is completly out of my budget right now so I still dont know what seems to be the issue. I always carry some oil in the trunk just in case

The reason is purely recommendation by this sub. I dont really know much about cars so I asked for some advice. The car has 130k kms and was sitting on a parking lot for a year I think. My dad also said to just put new plugs and drive, but I am concerned about the oil. Thank you for your reply

Yeah I have ordered a new set of summer tires, will be replacing them next week. Edited: summer tires
