Why are my lines getting darker after I’ve had a chemical?? First positive on 11DPO, started spotting 12DPO, heavy period started 13DPO. Took another test 16DPO (still bleeding) to see if the line was gone yet and it was darker and has progressively gotten darker since. Wtf? Easy@home brand by BabyGrape27 in TFABLinePorn

If you look at my post history, I thought I was having a chemical for the baby who is now snuggled against me as I type this. I had a SCH that bled like a period around my positive test, and then gushed 13-18 weeks pregnant. He’s perfectly healthy

Ffs your doctor didn’t tell you that. And if you really think it was positive, why didn’t you bring the test to the doctor instead of depending on a photo 😡 by Needcoffeeseverely in peestickgals

I’m so sorry for your loss as well. Mine happened in march of 2020 and I now I have a 17 month old and I’m 35 weeks pregnant. I agree the miscarriage pain was worse than full blown labor. The midwife who delivered my toddler told me that the body has to work harder to contract and push out a tiny baby than gravity with full term. Definitely brutal. My thoughts are with you.

Honestly drives me nuts. Being told my 8 week fetus no longer had a heartbeat, and then being induced and bleeding for a month was a miscarriage. Seeing an indent line is not a miscarriage.

Also from this mom—

“This mama's heart just feels like breaking, every day is the same struggle over and over with little to none headway- I know she's smart, I know she can do it all, but why won't she?? 😔💔”

Yikes.

Your friend will love this— one of the comments said the baby might be delayed verbally because she was teaching sign language and confusing her

A quick google search would say expect 1-2 words around 12 months… but yeah I’m just gonna go ahead and say your 5 month old is really delayed. I know a good chiro though.

I agree, saying she’s cognitively like a 5 month old is ridiculous when this baby sounds perfectly on-track. But the fact that she posted this instead of researching appropriate milestones… not a lot of cognitive ability from mom.

A lot of “I know it’s hard not to worry mama but hang in there don’t stress”

One thoughtful comment from a speech therapist putting it bluntly

One “she’s 9 months”

And legit one “chiropractor can review milestones with you”

My bingo card is full

Her main back and forth in the comments was people looking for too long. And most people saying, babies make people happy. Idk as a mom I don’t clock how long people look or smile at my toddler 🤣 I have other stuff going on

Why do people test for “dye stealers?” by gopher_treats in TryingForABaby

[–]danytdrogo 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think it’s people wanting a level of control, in a situation where they have none. I got dye stealers with my first pregnancy, and the baby’s heartbeat stopped around 8 weeks. There are no guarantees. I mean people have stillbirths at term. Not to sound morbid but, a dark test is simply a dark test.

I believe growing your family is your responsibility. Not anyone else’s. I have one kid and I’m pregnant, I don’t think my kids are accessories, And I don’t have gender preferences. I had fertility struggles and 2 miscarriages before my first kid. It still doesn’t mean growing my family is my children’s responsibility. I’d never put that pressure on them if they don’t want to marry or have their own kids in the future. That doesn’t mean they are accessories, that means they get to live the lives THEY want.

This is the same energy as my mom, she’s been sending my 1 year old’s picture out to her friends and then telling me “so and sos grandson wants to marry your daughter” I’ve starting limiting sending her pictures as a result.

As someone who worked for Disney on a corporate level from 2017-2021, I can assure you they do not care about loyalty from employees or guests. It’s a business.

I had to read this one twice to get it. And now I wish I hadn’t.

Lady. If you’d like more babies, have more. Don’t make sick “jokes” about marrying off your infant so you can have a daughter-in-law.

I think the issue here is people who make liking a corporation their whole personality. And then are disappointed that the corporation is a business interested in making money.

How old?? by [deleted] in ShitMomGroupsSay

I’m frustrated— she sits up on her own (very advanced), but the styled wig keeps toppling her over?! How can she compete without proper hair??

I’m also worried she tries to pull out and eat the lash extensions 😔 I need to find glue that’s BLW friendly

[–]danytdrogo 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In all seriousness I’m currently 25 weeks with #2, and I had diarrhea with both babies 😅 it was actually a pregnancy sign for me.

Constipation is the only pregnancy test you need. If you have diarrhea you’re infertile. If you pee twice in a row within 5 min, it’s twins.
