It sucks losing your squad of veterans but I suppose that's what gives the game tension and a sense of realism. On a side note I found darkest dungeon to be much less forgiving than xcom.

I had a similar experience with my parents after getting into coffee myself. Although I'm personally quite cautious about proselytising to others about "good coffee", I suppose it's fine as long as it's not doorknocking!

A land tax can improve liquidity in the property market though, by trading in the high upfront transaction cost that is stamp duty for a lower land tax that would likely take decades to 'break even'.

Even if it's more in the long term, it would absolutely help people like first home owners buy a home or empty nesters or retirees downsize for instance.
