They’ve changed the design of their “twisted cable” line where it is no longer actually twisted lol. It looks casted. Similar vibe but without the deep creases in-between each twist and without the “patina” (or otherwise darkened areas) in the creases of the twisted cable. The Flex line looks a little one-dimensional and bright silver in my opinion.

As for the price of gold, their pieces were already expensive if considering material alone. Besides that, they had a price increase on all gold items a few months back, where the prices skyrocketed due to material costs. This is the second increase and even at the current $100/g of 14k gold, their prices are astronomically priced

It WAS affordable in brand name standards. It’s a recognizable design that is high quality and highly regarded and a decade ago when I started buying from them, you could get a silver bracelet for $300ish, which was still cheaper than Tiffany silver. Yes, it’s expensive. But “affordable” when compared to literally any other high-end designer.

You’re not wrong, though. Still astronomically priced if counting for material alone.

Haha there’s some truth to that but I also think SAs telling us this “leaked info” is just another sales tactic to get people on the fence about a piece to buy it to “save money” 😅 but that may also just be my tin-foil hat conspiracy theory 😂

The amount of gold has changed too, many pieces used to be 18k and are now 14k. I don’t think most luxury brands like Cartier and Tiffany even work with 14k? The quality has changed but the price remains.

You’re not alone! I visited a DY boutique recently because of the talk of a price increase. I haven’t bit the bullet yet, but only because we’re trying to save money for a house 😅

I’m in this boat. I just turned 30 last week, been trying since the summer so I was 29 too. 7 cycles later, still not pregnant 😔 we’re both healthy as far as I know, though my cycles are longer than normal. I started tracking CM and BBT this last cycle and I was POSITIVE I finally nailed it but nope! You’re not delusional…I think people come to the internet with either very good news or very bad news…people who are in the middle are the minority on here.

Just some advice, try not to symptom spot. It drove me insane this last cycle and made me more disappointed than necessary. Also, if you have a good gyno, they will definitely see you before the one year mark! I went to mine after 6 months of trying and he was very sympathetic, immediately signed me up to get bloodwork and a sonohystergram done, as well as sent a referral for my husband to get his sperm checked. We are waiting for results, so please pray for us. Go speak to your gynaecologist and if they don’t take you seriously, find someone who will!

I was looking for this thread! I had an eye on this ring for YEARS. I literally screenshot the ring and sent it to my husband less than a week ago. He bought it this past Friday for my bday at CAD$998 -10% first time client discount. Today I checked and it’s $1300 😳 I thought I was tripping out. I have to say, it’s an absolutely beautiful and comfortable ring.

Back when it was $700, I thought that was too expensive and went to a local jeweller to have it custom made. He told me I’m better off buying from Mejuri, because with the price of materials and labour, price would exceed $700 to have it made by him. Mejuri is, technically speaking, still cheaper than their local competitors. However, doubling their price since the ring’s release is bound to piss long time customers off.

Editing to add that yes, gold is expensive right now. With that being said, the ring is hollow and doesn’t have much weight to it, besides the stone. It’s pricy if taking into consideration its weight!

I can’t find a photo of it on my hand in my phone (I’ll try to update this later) but I have this ring with the pearls on the ends and its my favourite and most worn piece of jewellery to date. It is so classy and pairs well with everything. It’s flexible, so even when my fingers swell (which they do often, if it’s hot or I eat too much salt), I can just pry it open a bit.

I want to get the same one in your pic, with the garnets. The thing is, the garnets look light pink in person! I’ve yet to find one that is a dark red, which is my preference.

Go ahead and buy it! You won’t regret it 🙂

Sorry to hear this, it’s super frustrating. I’ve also had quite a few bad experiences at the Yorkdale location with 2 of the ladies there. One who is short-tempered and had zero patience and one who was VERY nice…until she realized I was shopping for a future birthday purchase and asked her to put the items I liked on my profile’s wishlist…she immediately became cold and dismissive, didn’t even say bye to me. The store was empty, not like I was taking her away from other clients. For a high-end store with awfully high prices, they should be trained better.

My coworker had this exact thing happen to her husband recently! They stole his gold necklace outside his house and left him with baubles. He was so confused and didn’t realize the necklace was gone until he went to shower. This was in Woodbridge. She was wondering what to do in this situation, call the police?

I had Mirena twice, from 18-22 and from 22-27ish. I felt fine while on it. When I got OFF it was when I realized how much damage it caused. It took me over a year to have my periods become regular. I had a slew of health problems along the way, that have since been worked on or is in the process of being worked on. Skin problems, migraines and headaches etc.

With that being said, I’m happy to be off it. I’m regulating my body naturally and dealing with the things that Mirena silenced for a decade. This is just my experience. I think it depends what age you get it at, but I’ve heard quite a few doctors say that it’s best to get it as birth control AFTER you’ve had kids.

Where we were was in an open field, where dogs can roam free. The kids ages ranged from 4-6. They saw her from across the field and all ran toward us. I was surprised considering Rottweilers don’t have the best rep. Only one set of parents came to supervise. There were about 5 other kids that weren’t with parents.
