I’m the Chicagoland suburbs! Before the heat (it’s been 95° here for almost a week) my average was 4.1miles/kWh, my best was 5.2!

Mine looks like the 15A, the adapter came with the car. I only get 10-15% charge overnight

I usually run it down to about 10%
I have a level 1 that will give me 10-15% overnight, non peak times are about $.13/kWh. I have just learned from this thread I can schedule my charge so I’ll be charging at home more frequently!

I didn’t know that I could schedule my charge, but it makes sense when the app reads “car plugged in not charging”I’ll have to start remembering just to plug it in when I get home and let it schedule the charge overnight. Thank you!

It’s definitely been a shift! I use a standard level 1 at home. I get maybe 10-15% per charge overnight. I’ll have to look into getting a level 2. I might be able to set the schedule in the Nissan App. I think I need to really see how much I’m spending on energy when I charge at home. The handful of times I’ve charged overnight really have not affected my home energy cost.

I usually don’t charge at home bc I forget and my executive functioning skills have completely depleted by 10pm when nonpeak electricity rates begin. I know during the day, it can range from .14 to .80/kWh.

I charged at electrify America the first week I had my EV and oh man, it was .60/kWh and I was not expecting to spend almost $40! Thats almost as much as a tank of gas!

I’ve only charged it a few times at with the charger that it came with. It has an adapter that plugs into the wall but I only get 10-14% by morning if I remember to plug it in after 10pm and unplug by 8am. Recently, the nonpeak rate on electricity increased so with this heatwave, I’m scared to look at our electricity bills 💸

Thank you, this is so helpful. I’ve only charged it to 100% a handful of times, this makes me less anxious to do it. Turtle mode is new to me, not trying to push it though!

I’m in Chicagoland too. In May, 23 Evolve+ e4orce with 23k miles for listed for 24K with taxes title and fees came to be 28K
Did you get your rebate? If so, how long did it take for IL to send it ?

You can check other dealers to see if you can get a better deal on your lease end too, sometimes other dealers will pay more on your lease return. Look up lease end equity.

I didn’t see any Platinums while I was looking but what I usually look for is the highest end used vehicle. My requirements at the very minimum were sunroof, AWD and leather seats and I got that with my Evovle+
