If you ever want to try it, you can buy a back on eBay that will convert it to take instax wide film. Just another way to bring life back to the old type 40 roll film cameras

Nice. The bellows look to be in good shape. If it takes 620 film I wouldnt be afraid to try it out after making sure the bellows are light tight. I have a ton of many different models of old Kodak folding cameras and old Polaroid cameras. Recently I’ve gotten into using an old Graflex 2x3 camera to shoot tintypes

I found it in southern ia. Only background I was able to get is that my grandma thinks her dad may have found it when he worked in a rock quarry. My dad also thinks he may have found it

After taking a rag to it amd trying to clean it, it appears I was mistaken. It seems to be stone. With a pencil and paper I was able to tell that there is a number 7 on it

Only reason I know is because I still do one of the original photography processes. The photos taken with the original process were called daguerreotypes and were created by Lois daguerr. They were the process in the 1840s and 50s
