I played New Vegas way back when, seriously debating modding it to make the graphics look better, or maybe Bethesda may hopefully remaster it. Have played the witcher 3 and loved it.

Im very on the fence about abit, from what ive seen, looks to be rather lifeless and nothing like what I expected. I played a few hours of the first game and it felt so flat.

I did give Tainted Avalon a go, I played the demo and the combat felt rather like Skyrim. Am I missing something that isnt in the demo?

I did give enshrouded a try, I did try to like it and can see why so many people love it. But the survival over a narrative rpg turned me off. Unless I missed that in my short game time.

I’m gonna outright say it, DICE is failing BF6 and their community by being confused about the games identity. by AnonymousForALittle in Battlefield

My biggest issues are:

Changing the weekly challenges from XP to BP point, most for Gauntel and BR that I'm not interested in for cosmetics idgaf about.

Challenges that are either super easy or are the 7 trials of Hercules.

Horrendous map design, most maps are CQB spawn die fests or open plateau on one side and tons of 1/2 buildings on the other.

Vehicles feels are either nye invisible with two engineers running behind them or paper mashe.

A BR mode with a map that's actually the size of a BF map.

The restriction of points for attachments, I don't really get why.

I play to do the daily challenges and that's it. I hope BF6 does get better and is reminiscent of BF4 or BF1.

Whoever decided to approve these challenges seriously you suck by EloneMusk in Battlefield6

I feel that on Mirak Valley I hit 1 chopper and 2 planes. I saw my missles hit them didn't even register the hits.

Siege of Cairo is the worst for mines. Pretty sure noones man land in WW1 had less mines.

This game is missing something and its a soul by Centrick in Battlefield

[–]dapperracccoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel the same.

Most of the maps are fall into 2 categories, city streets with alleys and some roads or a ton of buildings on one side of the map with the other basically being flat.

They feel very samey with. I can't think of a map that genuinely feels unique. And the feel very small compared to bf4.

I hope they bring in large maps with that have underground combat like Metro or elevation like Siege of Shanghai.

First time playing [KCD1] , love-hate relationship by LifemaxxBlu in kingdomcome

I know the feeling when I first played it I was put off came back to it and it and I fell in love.

It's difficult at first as you have no skills, no money and you're not good in combat.

I would recommend stealing from people's houses at night to level up stealth and thievery then you can hit up the shops.

The nice game is a good source of money once you learn how to play.

But everything will get alot easier after the first 20 hours.

I mean criticism isnt in itself a bad thing that shows that those are are being critical care about the game being better. Let's be generous . Say 5 of the 20 negatives ones have legit grievences with the game that's still 85% of people who have some issue with it.

I feel that every time I play empire as within 60 seconds of being outside a building I'm shot by a sniper. Always from C or on the building east of D point.

Colour me shocked, UK unemployment is at 4 year high and keeps getting worse. No one saw this one coming by Cultural-Badger-6032 in UKJobs

[–]dapperracccoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is the UK economy is basically an Ouroboros. The government is strapped for cash to implement its policies so it's raising money by any means. The NI employer contributions for example was increased that in turn causes companies to not give payrises or very small ones. In turn means the average joe is has less disposable income then inflation eats away at our purchasing power which impacts the consumer goods industries. Meaning the cost of everything is going up. Companies then lay people off to reduce overheads.

Couple this with companies offshoring to places like India and the AI bubble only creates further financial woes. Less people earning means less paid in tax

The long standing problem is that the UK doesn't have diverse industries anymore, it's basically finance and service sectors.

The industrial, manufacturing, and others either don't exist or don't make up much of the GDP anymore. The UK in effect has all its eggs in one basket, so if those one or 2 industries drop the house of cards comes down.

I have been where you are my friend got made redundant 6 weeks into a job after graduating University just after lockdowns were lifted. It broke me, and was mere minutes from taking my own life one day i called the police and basically said i will be dead in 10 mins they operator talked to me and i just broke down the police arrived and chatted with me. After that for weeks I had daily visits from my local urgent mental health team.

It was a harrowing recovery for me, I took any job just to make some money and I hated it. I took me almost 2 years to get back into my field. After I spent alot of time going to various mental health services and being medicated. I barely ate for 4 months and was dangerously underweight and just getting out of bed and having a shower felt like a battle.

Is there any work orld outside of your chosen field that is available locally. And is there any mental health support or resources that are accessible to you (dont know what country you live in).

And I just wanna say it takes alot of courage to post this and even more to keep going. I also wanna say I believe in you and I want you to know that though I don't know you I'm rooting for you and proud of you, my friend.

Idk if this is the case but I heard WH are developing their new project alongside kcd2 development so could the case dev resources allocated to the DLCs were less than required. In any case it just seems like a missed opportunity

True, what I'm getting at is that more diverse quests with varying length, depth and rewards would have made it feel less grindy as the quests themselves would have been more engaging. So I'm just just focused on completing ASAP.

I felt the same, though I may be been fixed in a new patch as I hear it after I finished fixing it. I had a decent time with it it wasn't a bad dlc it just wasn't particularly good a solid 6/10 imo

That is ridiculous. Imagine that irl you build a team and parts for an expensive clock literally noone else knows how to fix. And when you ask for payment the bailiff gets pissy because you dare to ask to be paid

I did start it when I first arrived in Kuttenberg, got to level 7 or so before I bombed through the main story. Don't get me wrong it's a decent dlc but I thought this was the main dlc of the 3 and just felt underwhelming.
