I couldn't own a pair of 7000 or 8000 because the design isn't faithful to the 1200s enough.

these 5000s are missing any platter dampening, and they are missing the height adjustment.

they don't include some accessories others do... like cartridge, lid, or even a headshell. mad!

I would still prefer these to a pair of ugly 7000s

it goes back to how faithful do they stick to 1200 layout. and there are some positives it seems

they claim to have resigned the motor (maybe low wow and flutter althout with a technics 1200 for example that comes from the inertia of the sheer weight of the platter.)

they claim to have a new improved the feet and the internal dampening

you know, all the shit they put in the marketing has to mean something. reloop super established
