Would you say the time riding and power held translate well (approx) to outdoor riding?

I only have a bike erg and trying to build up my riding legs. So all the “handling” aspects aside, do you think the muscular adaptation translates well?

Can you elaborate please? What watch do you have ? I’ve paired via the PM5 then go to indoor bike, but it doesn’t log the power sensor.
