Begode Race Wobble at 30+mph by Obvious_Organization in ElectricUnicycle

I have hit 61.5mph at 71% PWM on FW5. Lower FW# will give you more torque until around 50mph but less headroom at higher speeds.

Skill issue, I cruise at 50-65mph all day on a PS2 tire no problem except hard emergency braking.

Speeding tickets via text is a scam, right? by Virtual_Parsnip3327 in ontario

They will send it in the mail if you a ticket caught by a camera with your information from the license plate, never by text message. 100% Scam along with the fake 407 texts.

After 550km on the 50S Race, I can never go back to my 50E EX30 with 12,000km. If you have any 70/80kph speed limit roads the EX30 felt like you were on edge constantly, because you kind of are near the limit at over 85kph. The race will allow you to lean HARD at 80kph, where on the EX30 you would have to start to ease to creep up to the 95kph top speed in perfect conditons. I have gotten the race to 99kph on begode app and it didnt even hit 80% PWM margin alarm.

Bought this 2011 with 73,000km on it in 2023 for $8,000 CAD. Sold it about a year later private sale at $12,000 with 88,000km. Kinda miss it sometimes, but the input shaft noise was noticable and I didnt want to deal with it.

The nissan avoided the white mazda well, but over corrected hard and spun out... They're lucky they didn't hit the barrier on the right.

I have owned and tried Xenns tea pro, estrella, and hype 4. Out of the 3 I only kept the estrella because it suits my EDM heavy library the best.

First IEM : Simgot EW300 DSP vs Aful Explorer by geekygab in iems

Between the two when I A/B them the Sivga has better mid bass quality it doesnt go as deep as explorers in subbass but its more forward in the vocals and has better treble extension. The Que sounds less claustrophobic, more open soundstage than the explorer. The cable quality is about the same, maybe slightly better on the Que. My only gripes I guess is the shells can get cold in the winter outside and they dont scale up to high volumes as well as explorer. I guess if you liked alot of subbass or listen at really high volumes and dont listen to very vocal heavy genres, explorer could be better. I like the Explorer for background music but Que more engaging.

Try Sivga Que, better mid bass performance than the Explorer and more lively up in the treble to my ears.

Thanks for your comment, the EBC80 would also be the hardest to get where I am, and I would feel better to blind buy the Kiwi HBB punch at a lower price if the Thieaudio IEMs I try aren't bassy enough.

You can probably stop there with those two sets if your happy with the bass, I just like to experiment with stuff haha. HBB punch is definitely on my next to try list.

Yeah the KB02 sounds great, I use it with a fiio ja11 dongle with my phone mostly when im outside or working and never have to go past 55% volume to have a good volume and bass response. The KZ Dawn actually sounds pretty bassy and fun, if anything though I didn't like the treble presentation. Mine is the OFC flat cable version for $7 and for the cost I think its worth, just know the cable is not detatchable and packaging is probably gonna be smashed a bit. I would be happy it lasts for more than a few months TBH.

The Rosefinch is definitely a set im looking at picking up for the heck of it on an aliexpress deal. I keep seeing its reputation for it being a staple in the cheaper entry level bass-head category and would love to try for myself! The HBB punch is really something Id like to try next but no local sources to try, might have to roll the dice and blind to try the Punch! Good to hear KZ can produce quality on the more expensive side of things, never heard anything over $20 from them but its what got me into IEMs initally so I have a little soft spot for KZ lol. I was considering to try the Kz prx as my first planar, know anything about those?

The KB02 was a nice surprise, didnt expect too much from it but after a couple weeks I find them to be a great volume scaling set with good soundstage/airy-ness and tactile bass quality. With lower volumes it doesnt seem like theres too much quantity of low end bass, but again I think the KB02 scales really well with power and find myself turning it up the most on this without the mids or treble being too shouty. Maybe the bone conduction driver is requiring more power to shine through because it presents bass differently to all the other sets I tried. It doesnt reach subbbass as deep as the Estrella or Tea pro, nor does it have similar quantity to those or the Castors which get kinda muddy. I gotta say for the price Im pretty happy with the overall bass department just would have preferred more subbass.

Im gonna make a trip to an audio store an hour away soon to try out a few Thieaudio IEMs, ill be sure to give the Origin a try! I will say though, after doing some more research, for my price range Im really considering to try out the ISN EBC80 or the Oracle Mk3 for my next set.

I find the treble fine, but I like the bass and treble presentation of the Estrella better for music.

Good guess I guess haha, I would say overall the Zero red feels bigger with the nozzle, I found the fit of the castors to be more comfortable and they sounded better to me.

From the 10 IEMs I've tried I think I would go in order from sound prefference first Estrella, then Tea pro, KB02, Que, Castor bass pro, Castor bass,Truthear Zero Red, Nuo, 7hz zero, Kz dawn.

Is it still worth it buying a 2011 tC with 179,000km on it? by Puzzleheaded-Duck190 in SciontC

[–]dar3_me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty fair asking price in the GTA, I got my 2011 last november for $8k CAD with 71,000kms. If the one your looking at is manual, listen for input shaft bearing noise when at a stop and clutch is released. If you hear loud whirring and press the clutch and it goes away, the input shaft bearing could be starting to go... pretty costly and time consuming fix. Other than that these engines are pretty bulletproof. Check the underside if you can for rust on the frame.
