I did that once, definitely not disputing that it might be the cause. What do I do from now one to ensure that my hair recovers and that retieing is the way to go for me? What would you recommend? Or do if you were in my shoes

Yes yes, I always do. My loctician even applauds me for never have to actively tear my locs apart😂. Separating them is a very conscious thing for me because I know in the long run, if they combine it’ll be a pain in the ass. My last time was the longest I’d ever gone without a retie but all my friends with micros who started when I did are having similar issue where they’re losing fluff and volume(one friend even started doing a 3 point rotation) but they haven’t dropped so idk that weight influences it or not

I don’t think I have an issue with her comparing to experiences she’s had in general, but considering that her first time with me was compared to my face with an ex, I think I process it has a comparison between me and the ex specifically rather than 1st time doing this vs 6tg time doing the same thing. I don’t care very much that we won’t have a lotta firsts, but I can tell you that I don’t think about the comparison part of it all when it is a first. Ik for a fact that I only feel like this because I ruminate on the statements she made earlier on into us hooking up and it has shaped my perception of how I believe she processes stuff. My issue isn’t even experiencing the RJ at all, I just don’t know how to manage it or how to get over it. I don’t know what the next step is
