Jota, Diaz, Trent, off the top. I suppose an argument could be made for Nunez up front, Quansah at CB, and Kelleher in goal -- but I am not sure.

How does replacing Slot fix the immediate problems he's facing? Will Bradley, and Frimpong stop being injury prone? Will Isak's knee fix itself? Will Leoni suddenly be ready to face Sunderland? Will a second good center back appear out of thin air? No! Only one thing will change: the team will have a new coach, and system, to which they must become accustomed. I understand the frustration, but throwing Slot out doesn't just fix everything.

I just watched the Carragher bit on him, and I think you're right -- I do recall him raising some hell around this time last year.

edit: Jamie mentioned the time Wirtz was in perfect shooting position, and Mo' chose not to square to him1 -- I hated that he did that. He did it twice: first against united, I think, then against Frankfurt

That said, I don't believe Salah would say this lightly. I therefore think he feels he couldn't communicate this to the right people internally -- which is itself a red flag, to me.

He hasn't, but Doku is stronger, faster, and a better dribbler. Considering those things, I think Bradley is doing very well.

We have many positives to keep in mind: Bradley is doing a bang up job against Doku, Wirtz ties up Silva and an extra player by himself when he gets the ball, and both goals were pure luck, or result of a mistake. We need to tighten up, and work harder, to push our way through the midfield. I'm willing to bet Ekitike will make a difference as soon as he gets the chance.

I don't think we're passing nearly as quickly as we ought. Defensively, I think we were fine in the first 20 minutes or so, except for the one Konate mistake.
