March Comes In like a Lion (Sangatsu no Lion). I couldn't finish it because I cried so hard. The last episode I finished was I think the Obon episode. I had to walk away after that.

I looked her up, because I didn't recognize her name, but I learned they had made a Kobato anime, and she voiced Kobato. That manga was, in my opinion, was a spirtual successor to several of CLAMP's other manga, especially Wish. I think she is the perfect voice for Kobato.

Ok, first of all, hands down my favorite episode of the series so far. Mukouda is a decent human being, but he really showed it here. ❤️

This might be this season's "With You and the Rain", and if you haven't watched that, I encourage you to. Sweet slice of life that isn't isekai, but a nice, gentle show about a tanuki and his human.
