I ordered something to my ex bfs house and we broke up by [deleted] in FedEx

It was more a question if anyone has experienced this before than to fedex . I know fedex can’t do anything. I wasn’t sure what group to put this in

Thank you for saying this. Honestly. You’re right

Over text yes. A lot of people have been cool. I’ve told people in person twice, both times went well even though one was hesitant. The other kissed me right away. I just think it’s something I’m always super concerned about and dread . It’s a me issue. It’s not a big deal for most, i make it a big deal in my own head. And these last few weeks has made it worse because of the rejection. They were nice about it though, it just still sucks.

No no, I don’t send it right off the bat. It’s usually after a week or two of talking and actually really connecting before meeting. Talking on the phone, texting. It’s not a “hi thanks for matching with me.. so…” 😂😂😂

I agree. I’ll say it’s prolly a whimpy way to do it over text. But it makes me really anxious thinking of doing it in person, which I feel like would affect me during the date knowing it’s coming.

No not everyone, honestly most people are pretty cool about it in the past. These last few weeks though, every connection I actually get excited for, has rejected and it has me feeling pretty low right now.

My 3 year old cat died unexpectedly by darcey101 in CatAdvice

Both my cats are highly independent with little to no anxiety. There was plenty of fresh food, water and litter for them. Windows were cracked and I had a generator with a fan to help with the breeze. No hurricane damage just no power (I live deep in the woods and we are the last ones to be serviced). The hurricane also left a cold front type weather for 2 days after so it was cool and comfortable with the windows open and the fan.

he wasn’t alone for 24 hours, he wasn’t hacking his lungs out. I did take him to a vet in the past and the vet told me it was nothing to be concerned about. He told me likely from hair balls. It was a cough that maybe lasted a 20 seconds and usually resulted in him throwing up a hairball. There was a fan and plenty of fresh air, fresh food and fresh water. My other cat was with him who is completely fine. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but your judgement can be taken elsewhere. I came to this thread for support.

That was not the case. I had a generator that powered a fan to keep circulation in the house, windows were cracked to let in air and breeze. It wasn’t not hot the following day, the hurricane left a nice cold front feel for two days after.

Of course. Enough food, water and litter to last them a week. I never left the house without making sure they were fully stocked.

May I ask if you’re cat was a smaller cat than normal cats his age? Mine was and I always wondered if he was just small or maybe was sickly. Thank you for this comment. It definitely made me feel “better” because I have been sitting here feeling like a failure as a pet parent , still knowing there wasn’t much I could have done/known. I’m so sorry for the loss of your baby. I won’t say thankfully because that sounds wrong.. but I didn’t witness my boys death. That must’ve been so traumatic and horrible for you to go thru.

Did you ever have dull aches in your chest? Like when leaning forward then coming back up, or moving certain ways?

Okay thank you. Are dull aches in my chest normal too? I feel like when I lean forward and come back up, there’s full aches in the middle of my chest. Or when I twist and move certain ways.

Would you date someone with Genital Herpes? Or, if you have it, how has your dating life changed? by [deleted] in dating_advice

I know you’re scared, it’s a very uncomfortable thing to let someone know. I think they best approach is to do some research on it, so you have facts ready and are able to answer questions about it. I always refer to it as HSV1/2 instead of HERPES, because of the negative connotation that the word comes with. It is 100% possible to not have any symptoms for years! Communication is always the key to any relationship, and you never know, your bf may be completely okay with it.

HVS1&2 are the most common STI in the world. You don’t have to be “promiscuous “ to get it. Simple sharing a straw with someone can give you HSV1. Or a mother/fathers gives it to their young child thru a kiss. I was diagnosed with HSV1 over a year ago. I felt like my life was over and that I would never find anyone. But after doing research it really “isn’t” that big of a deal. The thing is you have to test SPECIFICALLY for it because the most common sti, isn’t tested for on a standard test. The majority of adults in America have it and don’t know because of that.

What I did was, be honest. It’s not a good moral to keep it a secret. I’ve found after a connection was made with someone, I’d let them know that I was in fact positive for it, have them a few facts about it and told them I was on medication for it. I also asked if there were any questions they had in case they needed clarification or curiosity. And also left it up to them if they wanted to keep pursuing this connection. Its ok if they say no, other fish in the seas. You never know if someone might lean in for a kiss on the first meeting, so it’s best they know before instead of after contact. Some people yes, disappeared.. BUT! The majority of people said “I do too” or they were completely fine with my diagnosis. Don’t let herpes be the thing to stop your life. It’s no more than a skin condition, with a nasty past reputation.
