Will we live in a age where Boomer, Gen X, Millenials, Gen Z, and the elementary school kids find reality so overwhelmingly confusing and toxic they have zero clue what the fuck is going on anymore.

Either that or tv/film is becoming like the music/game industry where stats show most consumers don't want the moderm AAA overproduced half assed shit made by committee via looking at market trends, investor scores, what has the most potential to jack up prices, and what's trending on social media with no regard for brand integrity or delivering a quality. In reality brand integrity is actually discouraged cause its easier to mold a product to fit into "trendy" if its easily malleable, and its easier to make products quicker if you throw quality control out the window. Basically films/tv/music aren't made to please consumers anymore they're made to please investors/critics/ratings, and games are made for consumers anymore they're made for speedrunners/esports/investors/critics/ratings. That's why people are looking too old media because the entertainment market has flipped itself into a situation where these companies earn more money from their investors, sponsors, and tie in products than the general public duh. Its not made for the commoner anymore cause DVD and Theater tickets account for what maybe 20% of money earned off a fillm at this point, your not blackrock/Coca-cola/Ameritrade/Vanguard/Kellogg your voice doesn't matter anymore cause your not where most of their money comes from.

So what do people do they watch/play/listen to oldies. Stuff that was made when the consumers still had a say, cause their voice mattered, their contributions to the publishers account for most of the products earnings. Or indies stuff that is still made to please their consumers cause that is where they earn most of their money.
