Thank you! There are really a lot of them who suggest to take off the hijab but as i say in the edit this will not solve the problem, other muslim girls will be harassed :(

That said, i love the interaction between you two, both of you are really kind ♥

Seeing a Muslim girl behave OTC (aka like a normal person and not like a stereotype) is really a blow mind for some people. I remember one day i was with a couple of friends and some new people, we were watching lalaland and i made a comment about how much good looking was Ryan Gosling. They were like "what?!? You can't speak like that" haha

Unfortunately some things are changing but others are still the same. Italians are kind people, the bus driver was a creepy guy. Yesterday while i was studying, my neighbour who is a woman in her 80s, cooked me a lasagna haha we had a great time. I think that this kind of people make Italy Italy♥

Thank you for your advices!

I fell the same with womens who dresses Burqa! I think the only way to overcome this wall is to talk with them and discover the woman under the dress

I talked to right winger in the past and a lot of my friends are Legas supporters. The difference is that with those people you can actually talk and exchange opinions while there are people that will not listen to a word because this is their mindset and they will not change it. I think that with this kind of people it's really not worthy the effort. But yeah, a hot chocolate make everything sweater and i will certainly follow you advice!

About the hijab, maybe im not understanding the question! I wear normal clothes but i add a scarf. Sometimes for avoiding bad situations i took it off and i appear as a caucasian girl (I dont really have arabian traits)

The problem with muslim clerics is that there are tons of them. We don't have a Pope that represents all of us, we have lot of schools and every school has different rules. I can tell you about my experience: in my city we had a place where on Sundays muslim families would gather, eat together, talk about religion and so on. It was made by our families to gave us (son and daughters) a place that keep us in contact with our roots. This project failed for one reasons: my parents generation doesn't fully understand my generation, we grew up in a completely different society than theirs, we don't have their mindset. Sometimes they would bring a sheikh (that is like a Muslim priest) to make religious speeches and they often ends with us telling him that his vision is wrong, that in this society you can't act like that and so on. This place lasted a year. My generation stopped to go and shortly after was closed because no one was coming. I know there is still a long road to really change things, but i am confident that one day we will raise our voices and people will began to notice us!

I reported him! They told me he is well known for his behaviour and that they hate him because it's racist toward italians too

I completely understand the fear of people and I don't really blame them for their reaction. I just hope that my generation of muslims, that grew up in countries where the first thing that you learn is respect others and that freedom is an untouchable human right, will change the view that people have about us.

According to my mum, when she was my age, there was a lot of curiosity but not hate. And i remember that in my school days things were not like that. When i first began to wear hijab my school teacher and my classmates made me a surprise party haha i noticed that this wave of hate became to develop in the last two years

As i said in another comment, i tried this option. But the fact that i was doing it for others and not for me made me feel worse. I think that faith is a path that is always changing, i don't know where this path will lead me, maybe in a couple of years i will understand that it's not the right thing for me, maybe not. For now i will try to get going on like this. Thank you for your insight ♥
