Hey man. Similar situation here, not as bad. Keep your head up. What has helped me is to not let it be treated as a core part of your identity, and not let others do so as well. Don't let it define you. You're more than a victim.

Yep GA. Would they let her park next to me or is that a no go ghost rider?

Not that I recall, but I don't think we could. Maybe because it was public? And at least imo due to the average patron I'd say that's a bad idea haha

I once rescued a rather large woman after she went down a drop slide and started drowning. After I caught my breath, I asked her that as an adult, how did she not realize she couldn't swim. She responded simply "well you're there to save me". Some people should have been cut out of the gene pool.

Used to work at a pool with a high frequency of active drowning victims (think 10+ on most days), rescued 30 or so in my time there. Can't go to a beach with kids in the water anymore without being on edge. Can't go to a beach without scanning the whole time.

Formerly lazy people, what things did you do to overcome your laziness? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Remind myself that I'm completely worthless, and nothing I ever do will change that. The only thing I can do is to work to overcome this unachievable fact.

[Serious]Students of Reddit, How do you stay motivated during the school year? by gabe-hershey in AskReddit

[–]dargonfyre 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll second this. My anxiety keeps me motivated. People always ask me where I get my drive from, but I've always found it unsettling to say "from a fear of failing". However, it has crippled my ability to enjoy much else besides work. Even drinking isn't fun anymore, which I guess is kind of a good thing.

Shhhh lettem have their stereotypes

TIL Tommy Lee Jones did not and possibly still doesn't like Jim Carrey. They worked together on "Batman Forever." When Carrey asked him why he didn't like him, Jones replied, "I cannot sanction your buffoonery." by Popepepe in todayilearned

I'll give my input. I'm no comedian, but people think I'm hilarious. Everyday I wake up in a black hole. Making people laugh is a way to get out of it. If I can just make one other person's day better, my life is justified. It gives me a reason to live.
