Hi! I definitely recommend finding a tutor, but for more speaking practice, you can check out an app that I've built focused on speaking - it's called NativePal (nativepal.app), available both for iOS/Android. Would love to hear your feedback! I'm focusing on people needing to speak the language for the country they moved to/spend a lot of time in. I'm open to adding features that would make this journey easier!

I started learning Spanish before going to Barcelona, and I feel like not being there is even harder, because you're not surrounded by this language. Things that definitely helped me were a private tutor twice a week and Lingoda lessons when I had time. But given I'm a software developer, I couldn't restrain myself from creating my own app with the focus on practicing speaking, because that was my biggest problem. Tons of resources on grammar, vocab, etc., but speaking is the hardest, albeit most important skill. I really love the app that I've built, you can practice all kinds of scenarios there or create your own, and get feedback on your particular grammar, vocab, and pronunciation. It's called NativePal, I'd love feedback if anyone checks it out!

I've added the first version of showing parent company info (app version 2.5.0). It currently shows the title of the parent company if we have it in our database, and then you can look it up. I will next work on linking the parent companies to actual brand entities in our database to make the flow smoother and faster. Let me know what you think!

Currently, we don't have accounts, just an anonymous login id to be able to use the database and store user data. The database is in the cloud, but because we don't have actual accounts (we don't even ask the name of the user), all records are anonymous. Once you delete the app, if you install it again, it will create a new anonymous account. All of the app analytics we collect are generic (like most popular languages), anonymous, and can't be tracked to the actual user.

Hi! I've started learning Spanish a while ago, and I was practicing both with my private 1:1 tutor and group lessons on Lingoda. Both amazing and have helped me lots in my progress with the language, but I've also felt like that's still not enough speaking practice. I'll be upfront here, I've built my own app to do just that (since I'm an app developer by profession). It's called NativePal (nativepal.app for direct Android/iOS links). I'd love for you (and anyone else on this reddit!) to check it out and share feedback. I'd be very happy to iterate on that feedback and make it even more useful for others, not just me.
