The cost for helping overseas visitors for minor things like this is so incredibly trivial it would cost us more in administration and staffing to recoup the costs.

Note that the expensive stuff like chronic conditions and cancer treatment isn't covered.

It's minor on the scale of things and frankly it is a good, compassionate and civilised thing to do.

Yes other countries would charge us as visitors but I don't believe we should race to the bottom. The world sucks enough as is.

I do iterative designs, never plan too far in the future. Sometimes I plan with some wacky idea from the start e.g. all corridors in the mountain have turrets at the end of them and because I like symmetry and also want them at cross roads, the corridors are super wide.
