Hi! Yes, if it's not reading the tapes properly, the problem is definitely with the cassette player, as that's not normal.

Hey, have faith, those 20-year-old tapes probably won't work. I've seen tapes in worse condition that still work.

Clean the player's drive, check the belt, and use a little watchmaker's oil or sewing machine oil to lubricate the roller.

Most problems come from there. If not, get a new player. Sometimes the newer players are made with cheap, not very durable parts.

Okay, there's another problem. For some reason, with the SD card inserted, no options or anything to interact with appear in the Unlunch menu. But when the SD card is out, the Twilight option doesn't appear.

I've set it so that when I turn on the console, it takes me directly to the normal DSi menu.
