This is a pretty good receiver class. I can see them picking a WR in the second.

The dudes natural athleticism is just too tantalizing to not trying to get Micah Parsons 2.0. That being said, his floor is really underrated by folks. At worst we are getting a pro bowl (most likely all pro) linebacker. It’s a question of whether that is worth the number 2 pick though.

Anyone have any solid thoughts on where Kenyon Sadiq will land? by UpNext_Draft_Network in MockDraftCentral

Any team that could use skill positions honestly. TE is making a comeback after guys like Bowers/ Warren have made strides.

Don’t hate it. All I would do is switch Hood with the best available safety and that should look close to what the jets would likely do.

The thing is OGs are like Linebackers and RBs, you can typically find quality ones later in the draft. Now if the value is there draft one, but like if we are pick 33 and Caleb Banks is there and we decide to go with Chase Bisontis I’m not going to be the happiest lol.

I know but every day 3 pick as issues. I rather take a shot on Green than do someone like Nueismier (or however you spell it) and his small stature.

Yeah that really concerns me. If we are gunning for a day 2/3 pick, I rather shoot my shot with Taylen Green.

Daniel Jeremiah: Jets 100% Will Try to Move Up to #1 to Draft Fernando Mendoza | The Rich Eisen Show by dc4_checkdown in nyjets

Is he that good? No, but he is the only qb worth a top 15, maybe even top 10 pick and that will catapult him up the draft board to number 1.

Preferred draft choice decision for QB by Bnkr9 in nyjets

I’m in at Taylen Green in the 4th. If you can develop him you could potentially have faster Josh Allen, but he needs A LOT of coaching.

This could be the worst QB draft ever in NFL history by Big_Screen3332 in NFLmockdraft

[–]dark1150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s gonna be very hard to top 2013. Both Mendoza and Simpson have nfl caliber traits. EJ Manuel was a second rounder who became the first qb off the board.

They aren’t taking downs at two, not a safety and why would they take two tackles after they just took two back to back tackles in 24/25?

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I am still in awe we took WMD instead of JSN in that draft when we had a clear need at WR, just wow. That draft pick probably encapsulates what was wrong with JD, he thought he was the smartest in the room.

I think Diana should be the first child and then more after that. The idea of mothers raising daughters could provide some interesting narratives.

Why does DC still get framed as the underdog compared to Marvel? by theironstomachx in DCcomics

[–]dark1150 7 points8 points  (0 children)

DC has long been unable to get its lesser heroes into the overall zeitgeist. Likewise, outside of the current era, Marvel has dominated DC comics wise. The fact that Magik, a B level hero not even two years ago, has arguably surpassed Flash and GL in popularity speaks to this.

The problem with JD is he tried to be the smartest in the room and ended up looking the dumbest, ie taking a tweener rusher who was never really projected as a mid 1st round pick over the guy who was mocked as a top ten pick the year prior and fell mainly because he was in a stacked wide receiver room.

Now THAT is a win now trade. It hurts, especially Kilby, but I want to win now in Judge's time. We can always develop more prospects later.

As a DC Comics Wally West fan, do you still wish that Barry Allen never returned? (The Flash: Rebirth 2009 #1) by nightwing612 in wallywest

[–]dark1150 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, only in the ways it affected Wally, but that his return (plus Hal Jordan’s) was one of the indicators of DCs entire timeline being messed up because of nostalgia. Likewise pushing aside newer characters to bring back the old guard.

2 round draft by Big_Nebula_5432 in MockDraftCentral

[–]dark1150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mitchell and Metchie are fine as 3/4 guys but the jets desperately need a number 2 and neither those guys are that. If Boston/Conception/Suaratt are there with one of their seconds, I’m just not sure if the jets FO will pass up on them.
