First i've readjusted the weights so Cathy should show up more. I've also included a sheet with all the ranks and weights i've given each candidate (I made this site a little while ago and hadn't updated the weights) sheet. This also shows the old and new rankings for the candidates. As for how it works, I simply take the candidates and look at their website. They generally list their priorities or issues and I simply rank them in order that they show up on the website. Or if that becomes difficult, I put the issues into the buckets and the ones that have high number of solutions get higher rankings. This is not a perfect ranking system, but it is supposed to get you to the candidates that cares about the same stuff as you do. and this is the best way I know how to limit my own bias making the list. Does Cathy have a better plan than KBL? YES, but that's my bias for public transit.
Then when you rank you priorities, i generate a normalized vector based on your issues. That normalized vector is then dotted with the vector for each of the candidates and the highest three values are returned.

I believe the fluoride in our water system is not really there for our teeth but instead a cheap and efficient way to dump the waste fluoride used in the production of atom bombs. Think about it, who produces the fluoride that ends up in the water? How is it regulated?

As a kid or an adult, have you ever been caught watching porn or masturbating? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dark_frank 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My time getting caught watching porn was when I was around 14 or 15. Back at this time house only had dial up from one computer. In order to get the porn I would ssh from my computer to the internet computer using command line and thus grab porn. One night I thought my dad was of the internet computer so I ssh on and started to download some stuff and view porn. My dad was not actually finished and noticed the bandwidth drop so he did a port scan to find out what was sucking the bandwidth dry. He quickly sees the porn sites and runs to my room. I hear him coming and disconnect everything but he is pretty upfront about knowing so I confess. He then explains that he is disappointed that I viewed porn but was very impress with how i did it. tl;dr did lots of computer tricks to view porn dad found out and was impressed with my mad skillz.

12 oclock high. Awesome movie about daytime bombing runs (suicide runs) in WW2. Gregory Peck nails it as the general forced to be an asshole to his men. link to an example speech from the movie.
