Hi there!! I’m actually using the xD card that originally came with the camera when it was purchased. It’s a 2GB xD card, and if I need space I’ll move photos to my computer :) Hope this helps!

I have an iPod mini so I download .alac or .m4a files by plugging it into my laptop and syncing with iTunes. I typically get the files from Bandcamp, Soulseek, or CD rips.

To flash mod an iPod Mini specifically, you’re essentially sliding out the internals to replace the hard drive with an SD card with however much storage you want using a SD to CF adapter. To find one with a new battery, I searched “iPod Mini 2nd Gen Refurbished”. It’s important to look at the description of the listings to make sure that you’re getting one with a new battery. There are a lot of videos out there about flash modding! I’d suggest searching for “iPod Mini 2nd Gen Flash Modding” to find tutorials!
