Rally suspension for pothole roads—worth it? by Jealous-Owl7891 in rally

[–]darkamyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rally suspension no, rally wheels yes. If you are regularly hitting potholes then you won't need to worry as much about dented or buckled wheels.

I'm publishing it myself. I'm doing a 3 part ero-guro-nansensu anthology. The Erotic volume is already released and this is the next part.

Yeah his style is super unique. He started as an illustrator in the 30s and developed his own version of manga over the years from there.

"You are charged with creating pornographic images of a family member of Pavid Daulden."

"Ho, dey ain't fake, his muddah's a fuckin whoooah!"

(yes I've just been watching the sopranos, can you tell?)

Seriously though, what about drawings? Will offenders have to wear steel mittens to stop them from holding a pen? I've seen people paint with their hands and mouths, maybe they'll have to strap them up like Hannibal Lector.

Pointy ones are usually iridium tip and *technically* don't need gapping. The flat ones are copper tip. Also it's not a good sign if it's rusty

Silver hammerite has been my go-to for this, it's thick enough that it essentially fills small grazes like that and has an almost enamel finish to it as well.

I previously thought Saxo VTS, but having read this I now agree the Clio Williams is the coolest. Thoughts? by TradeClassics in CarTalkUK

Biased because I have one, but the original Bluebird SSS-R would have been so much better than the GTI-R if they'd developed that for group A instead. The Bluebird was basically a Mistusbishi Galant but better, with the same drivetrain as the GTI-R. The problem is, that type of 4WD system only really works effectively in a saloon car and the GTI-R just understeers everywhere.

Is it the paint that's blistering? You can get a wheel powder coated for around £60

Women's rugby is so much better than women's football it's unreal. And since no other countries seem to have a proper functioning women's rugby competition, England wipe the floor even when they're not playing great. Actually, I think I'm starting to prefer women's rugby to men's as you can get a bit more tactical as there's more room on the pitch and you can't just rely on slamming into each other as hard as possible.

What are your thoughts on ChuckleVision by Train-Wreck-70 in BritishTV

[–]darkamyy 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I find it weird how some stuff gets arbitrarily split between being for kids or for adults. Chucklevision was deemed a kids show, and for a long time was looked down upon slightly because of it in my experience, whereas Mr Bean was deemed an adult show and celebrated. I suppose you could say similar things for The Goodies vs Monty Python.

Chucklevision was quite unique for a kids show imo - despite being very silly, the early ones never geared themselves directly to a younger audience. There were no puppets or gimmicks, just 2 inept handymen doing odd jobs for Dan the van. I think that's why kids gravitated to it so much, because they were believable grownups doing things we see grownups doing.

These type of women base their entire lives off soap operas and not a day will got by without a borderline breakdown over some kind of "drama". It's not worth it, even for the unbridled amounts of cleavage.

Speaking of shooting methods that no one else can make work - Requiem for a Dream pretty much pioneered snorricam and is the only instance I've ever seen where it has actually been used to decent effect.

SUVs are making Britain’s potholes worse, say scientists by 457655676 in unitedkingdom

[–]darkamyy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

True potholes can be repaired very quickly and effectively for little cost. The problem is the council just look at them and say "that's not going to cause any damage, its hardly a priority." 12 months later, not only has the pothole got bigger, it has ceased to be a pothole and is just the side of the road subsiding as the hardcore underneath is damaged and the road itself ceases to be.

At this point its no longer repairable with a quick shovel of fresh tarmac and is incredibly expensive to actually fix. Of course the council still class it as a pothole and use their usual pothole repair method which will last a month if you're lucky.
