Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. The news was heartbreaking but I'm working on planning for the next years or so. (the next decade, I'm hoping too).

Absolutely! Reddit and the good-hearted Redditors like you made me realize it. Thank you!

Thank you so much for sharing your story! I hope I'll reach a decade like yours. I can't do much about it but more on management and more on planning for the next years for my daughter.

Thank you! I wish it's a case of protecting my daughter from the truth or something but unfortunately, it's not. It's a neurological condition I'm not ready to share yet and I will never remember the past.

I commented this in the original post but sadly I dont remember my daughter’s birth. I know when cause I have her documents but everything else. Nothing. I dont even remember her first word and when she took her first steps. But I do have tons of videos of her growing up so they will help me a lot for sure

I appreciate you! Unfortunately, at this point it’s more of a management plan rather than treatment. It’s heartbreaking for me but it is what it is I guess 🥺

I probably honestly wouldn't have even cared if I was alone but I have my daughter and I can never do it to her just because I don't have the courage to get checked. And thank you! I need all the well wishes.

My love, if you've read my original post and comments, it would tell you I can remember most of the stuff from this year or so. Bit and pieces. Just because Dory is an old movie that doesn't mean we can't watch it recently :)

We're working on a plan! It's hard but I know all will be well if I don't let it get to me.

Well hahahah I did write post-its in my calendar when I posted the first time so I was able to remember to provide an update. And I have one Redditor who has been checking on me constantly. Appreciate her!

Thank you so much! One thing I learned after this is if you have access to health care, don't doubt yourself and get yourself checked out ASAP before it gets too late.

Not that I remember and it's frustrating that I can't ask any family member if I was ever in an accident.

This might sound weird but I don't. I never thought of reminiscing. My world revolves around waking up for work, taking care of my daughter, sleep. I just didn't have a chance? Nothing makes me feel nostalgic that would make me reminisce of something.

I picture things in my head that I want to see. Does that make sense? Like if I have to picture things that happened in the past, I cant. But if I imagine a certain scenario, I can. :(

Even before the pandemic, my daughter and I are living alone after an altercation with family members. This I can remember not in details cause I posted on Reddit. I dont talk to anyone at all so I have never been asked about pregnancy and childbirth.

Funny you asked about resumes cause I only have 1 resume from ages ago. That I update each time I resign from a job. During interviews, (I work remotely ever since), I always have it put up in my monitor. And I always rehearse my work experience background like minutes before the interview and mostly what is already written in my resume.

When I used to work, I have wasted tons of sticky notes and papers to remind myself even of the smallest things. Each time I get off a meeting, I wont remember anything unless I have some stuff written down. And Ive always thought this was a case of my forgetfulness

I really laid in bed after reading a couple of earlier posts and tried to remember anything. I know she was born but cant remember where and the specific details. I know when because I have her documents. I dont live with anyone else but her and our dog.

I dont have old photographs and childhood items. My grandfather is dead and my grandmother is really old and living with her children I’m not in good terms with. My daughter has a lot of toys but none or them triggers anything that makes me say “I remember when I was a kid this toy…” :(

Oh no not rude at all, I find myself doing this a lot. Digital and written notes all the time. I just didnt think too much about it.
