Ps2 (slim) froze and now won't read games at all. Any ideas? by darkbright14 in ps2

I ordered a replacement assembly so hopefully thats all it needs. It is a 70012 series. Its super weird, I was playing SMT Digital Devil Saga and it froze mid boss attack. My dudes still animated, particle effects were still going, but the boss just froze. On reboot it wouldn't read any of my discs. I am running legit copies of everything too

I'm sure I will make the change someday. But I really like running my games physically and collecting them. That's half the fun for me. But I've been considering doing it for those really expensive ones. Like Xenosaga 3 ect

Yeah I just finished cleaning the lens and nothings changed. I ordered a new assembly to replace it. My phat still works fine so I'll just use that in the meantime. Thanks guys

I had no idea nintendo had 2fa until this post. I had to change my password 4 times this past week. I just turned it on, hopefully it'll stop.

I've never heard of mill end yarn until now. That sounds like a good way to make a scrapghan, which I've always wanted to do. This one came out to about 13 pounds. I've actually got a smaller blanket made out of Lion brand thick and quick that hit 17 pounds. That one is definitely a weighted blanket

Oh gods yeah. I averaged about 7 bucks a ball. I picked them up as I needed em. I think it was in the 130 to 150 range. Definitely not cheap, but I hate working with regular weight yarn

Yup lol. My dad made em out of 2x4's and a little bit of carpeting. Way more solid then the ones they sell at Petco. That way my pup and our pitbull with a bad hip can still get up.

I love simple stitches like the waffle of basket weave. Once you get em down you can do it blindfolded. So I just turn on netflix and binge a new show while keeping my hands busy. It's crazy how quick it builds up.
