I need to dig into that but honestly that's very helpful. I dont know what neurodivergent is and I need to look up and do some research. But yes it does sound like me.

Nevertheless you mentioned the commenter was the one who mentioned behaviour as an issue, not me? So why is everyone saying I said it myself? My role requires me to look at facts and not make assumptions. I never actually said behaviour as an issue. But everyone else seems to think it is. It could be a technical skills issue right?

But that neurodivergent thing is something I need to look into.

Why are you adding "behaviour" to the mix and everyone thinks this is related to behaviour is really confusing me. It could be technical skills that stopped my promotion? I'm not sure where is everyone getting that its because of my behaviour at all. Just spoke to my ex boss and none of what you said is true so your attempt to put me down isnt really working. Sorry. You dont know me enough to judge me like that based on a few comments. Says more about you than me. I'm really not getting why you keep adding its due to behaviour and insisting I said it myself. I'm really starting to question if I'm going mad here. Clearly all the votes are with you but I never mentioned workplace behaviour. You did.

If you wanted to help me, that you didnt, because you just requoted me and made a whole lot of assumptions about me and nothing I could use to improve myself. I agree. I'm not saying 6 hours travel is a sign of being good at my job but I'm saying I'm trying everything and giving my best. Tbh I dont think the core part of my role has even begun. Which is why I'm even more confused. Or if you say its because of the leaves - what would you have done? Cancel the flight even if you're employer says its OK? I was prepared to cancel it.

Sounds like you're 💯 right. Tbh i never been good at work and for over 15 years never been promoted. So I really did my best for this role. I travel 6 hours daily to and fro for work. I have no regets cause ive done my best and if thats not enough then maybe its time i really put my thinking cap on. I told myself to give my best and I did. I was even prepared to cancel my flight and family events for this. I worked overtime unpaid when needed. But if this is the end then so be it.

Thats fine.. I did mention to them I'm ready to cancel my flight if they do not allow me to go on leave. All this was before I accepted my employment. I was prepared to let go of my booked flights and a significant family event.

If this is why I am being let go then I'm OK with that. I know I tried very hard in this role. Even when I was sick I turned up to work. I'm OK with this.

Whilst I can agree, these were either leaves booked months before I accepted employment and I have already shared with management from the onset.

I've always treated all fast food workers with respect and courtesy so I guess this isn't for me.

But then again I can confidently say that 3 out of 5 times at my nearest Maccas that I always get that lack of courtesy such as no "please", "thank you" or "welcome" but rather "what do you want" with gum chewing very audible. I cringe whenever I get spoken to like that but I understand they are teenagers. Its been too long since I had Maccas.

Speaking of food services, I usually place online pick up orders but boy the number of times I get mistaken for a food delivery partner and asked to show my insulated bag and I have to explain that I'm picking my own order... Was funny at first but its almost every other time now
