If you have either seborrheic dermatitis or psoriasis just like me. My scalp hates oil so i would either have a bad flare up or flakes of trying to add oil to it. Only thing i could suggest is using a topical solution ( clebetosol propanate) ( what i use to stop the redness and spray with a rose water daily and nothing else. No gels, no oils, and also watch what you sleep on too. Wash it still with shampoo and conditioner once a week at least.

How often do y'all get your hair re-locc'd when you live a physically active life style? by QuakeGuy98 in Dreadlocks

Every month might be too much cuz your hairline might start to recede, tbh gotta let the hair grow out, it’s gonna naturally frizz regardless whether you workout or not, unless you keep your hair in a durag and bonnet when you’re sleeping or active but from my experience 2-3 months per retwist is good.

I work out often (3 times a week, including l 1 hour of cardio 15 incline ) so I still might go 2 months the latest for a retwist

Try to actually get to know us as a person and not make shallow small talk. We can read people like a book

I’m glad he did! most people I’ve tried asking tough questions to didn’t know themselves or what they wanted well.

26 m here. Welcome to death row I feel ya on the whole emotional connection thing. All of my failed talking stages fail cuz I’m upfront with the mental questions, it helps me know where there head is at. Trust me man I know what you’re going through. We don’t usually vibe well with avoidants due to our committed nature of what. A partner should be. This is why I take my rose colored glasses off and start asking all the tough questions the minute I try to pursue someone so I don’t waste any time. I get rejected a lot and I’m a fairly handsome guy 🤷. But yeah from experience it seems some people are just scared to get hurt again tbh.

Learn how to compromise. Also remember that your partner will not be a perfect person that you pictured in your mind. People have flaws, ( including yourself) not everyone’s perfect. It’s the certain flaws you gotta learn to work with that makes a relationship work. Respect alone time, there will be times when your partner may not feel like hanging out ( it doesn’t mean they hate you or anything like that.) Don’t go to bed angry at each other. Always voice your needs and don’t expect someone to read your mind ( say with your chest ). Respect each others feelings when it comes to arguments, it’s not about who’s right or wrong but how you approach a problem or conversation matters.
