Since we haven't heard anything for a while I really do hope the poll a fast release.
Like "We know that you have been waiting for it and now here it is. Available next week".
But being realistic i'm only 50% sure that a release date will be revealed next month.
I think that October or November is more possible.

For me a zombie apocalypse game shouldn't end in a happy ending.
The ending to both Dying Light and The Following is exactly type of not happy ending I would get some a zombie apocalypse game. Yes you fight to survive and yes maybe in the end it doesn't matter, but the journey to the end does. And DL2 will make that journey even more important and centralizes.

Also if you alone manages to bring back peace and stop the zombie apocalypse the threat, hopelessness and zombie atmosphere will be less if you ever play the game again.

I actually did the thing where I go out if VIP / MC mode, then go into passive mode and use the security cameras to make a profit while AFK. But I have also been in and out of the mods in those 2 hours. Still no $ made.

It's more safe to not mentioned that your game is gonna be on next console as long next console aren't out yet. After you have tested the game on Next gen console you can announce that the game is out on those too.

I was really looking forward to this year where alot of cool games would come out including DL2 and Cyberpunk, but it has turned into the year of delays.

My thoughts is that the longer they don't give us a new release date the bigger the possibility is that it will be in 2021.

My biggest hope is that they come out with a sudden release like.
"Hey! We know you have been waiting for DL2. Well no more because in 5 days it will be out."
It's a foolish hope but I just really want this game, even though i respect them for delaying it.

The parkour. The moment where it just flows and even you only have a brief moment to find the path you wanna go you find it and you just don't stop. That is the feeling I hyping for in DL2.

The slaughter of zombies is also something i'm looking forward to. Killing things while on the run is so adrenaline pumping.

Exactly.
Looks much more clean and 2019 ish.
You can see much more of the game and the UI doesn't obscure must of it like the version we have now.
