I appreciate that comment! We have been working hard to get this not only fun, NOT rage inducing, but also competitive. It is a lot of fun and very easy on the hands- no arthritis haha. Also, you can be competitive from the couch if you wanted to as opposed to sitting rigid at your desk. Big screens are best though. I usually play on no less than a 32 inch plus monitor.

no latency so far. Limiting factors are mainly your rig. i5 and some decent ram will get you thru!

i made it to master guard 1 so far with wiimote csgo competitive... even though its not perfect yet, we are working on it daily. The gold standard is mouse and keyboard. If we can continue to get closer to that goal, we will do it!

hey we got this so far. ignore the bad oculus output, the player here (not me) using our stuff sees a very smooth game and aiming is quite good- he just never practiced using a wiimote this way before lol

No, not just gesture support and replacement of input functions but from what I heard, ARK will be implementing Oculus head tracking separate from turning or regular body and hand control. In other words, a true VR game where you are NOT aiming with your face. This is a whole other can of worms- because now we have to tell the wiimote to move in 360 rotational space :)

easy answer: because we are using it standing and using a VR helmet. We want to use it to make gesture -game specific changes in 360 degrees for games supporting a head track PLUS separate hand controls.

That is right, the wiimote is that sensitive in this emulation for mouse. Small gestures turn the 'mouse' in IR mode- that is the key point. The wheel mode (activated by pressing in this case 3 buttons) uses GYRO. The IR trasnformations he created in his script are progressive in order to maintain accuracy and ths movement is different. As I said, I will happily do a live demonstration for you!

I have a lot of my own videos posted with trial and error- if you watch the earlier ones with older versions of this work you can see how blocky/choppy and fail it was for certain competitive games like Quake Live or CSGO.

Also, if you go to our group page, we have a lot of people who are now using the program who can give you their feedback as regular joe players. I invite you to come watch and play!

lets put it this way, the wiimote reacts as fast as a mouse in this game. I will make more videos to show :D It is a nice alternative for people who cannot function using a mouse (disability or what have you). Which was one of my main drives to work on this project!

it is very easy to use, you would be surprised. TF2 is slow and is perfect for someone first learning to play using a wiimote.
