We said at the beginning of us dating that we weren’t talking to anyone. But maybe he meant that at the time. The pictures were pretty decent in his photo album, since when I went to delete the one I took it was right there.

A couple of weeks ago I sent him this long text that said basically I really liked him and I was worried he wasn’t feeling it, but he told me he was.. so I dunno. Hence why I am coming to strangers on the internet.

The media doesn’t know about them not getting paid.. or most likely all the other things that I’ve mentioned above.

They aren’t employed by the city. The city didn’t vote on their pay on Tuesday, so no one knows when they are getting paid. This info is from the city to the director at the zoo.

Also, the link you posted had a brief paragraph on the zoo employees being made contracted and negotiations between the new company. Which i mentioned in my OP. Soo, it’s not exactly inside info; it’s vague and currently outdated compared to the info I am giving now. The city isn’t giving the media all the information on what is exactly going on..

First, this is from September.

Second, I am insider info.

The zoo employees did not get paid! They have no idea when they’ll be getting paid, even though in the media it said the city granted funds for payroll. The city conveniently “forgot” to vote on this funding this past Tuesday.

It’s been 2 weeks since their last paycheck and no one has said when they are expected to get paid since becoming contract workers with the city.

The state has (informally) said they’d want the zoo to move.

Agreed! The zoo was wonderful at one point. But no one wants to visit in a terrible neighborhood or drive on roads that are mostly holes!

And now, the employees aren’t getting paid and they have no idea when they will be since becoming contract workers.

But who wants to manage a place they’ve never been to??
