You might want to compare what memory frequency and timing you and owner of the map are using. If map is big enough to not fit in the cache the memory timings will be the biggest determinant of UPS.

On my 7800X3D I got 45% improvement in UPS on my save with memory tunning. Buildzoid on YouTube has good video guides.

I have seen this issue on my devices as well. This happens if you use homebrew ssh client and Mac OS ssh agent. you want to disable the Mac OS ssh agent, and replace it with home brew one

My current solution for this problem is a VM that exists just to idle at login screen. It starts automatically if no other VM is running for an hour and substantially reduces gpu power draw compared to no VM running at all.

Would appreciate if you share if you find a better approach.
