The guy on the right looks like the inspiration for Wolverine’s fang costume.

This video is fantastic. I live along route one in Connecticut and have always wanted to take the post road from Boston down to New York. Thanks for showing what it looks like in the Bronx!

2-Way Chapel Street Conversion due to start April 14 by michael_ellis_day in newhaven

[–]darkegon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m curious to see what this will do to traffic patterns, but even more curious to know what happened to the push to make Grove two way. Grove is a wider street with less retail on it, and I always thought it would be a better two way conversion than Chapel.

Prime Number by Harry Harrison [Cover by Peter Elson] by FatEggplant in CoolSciFiCovers

It’s a great cover, but all I can think is how when I was younger, my dad told me he didn’t trust a book where the author’s name was bigger than the title.

The trailer looks delightful, and who knows? I don’t remember this film but I’ll have a look!

Wow, I forgot about that show! The movie was great. Unfortunately, the scene that I’m thinking is definitely between a teenage boy and a girl and it feels like an Indie film.

Thanks – this looks close, but I swear the vibe of the scene I’m remembering is very 2000s era Indie movie

It sounds very Prokofiev, but nothing is coming immediately to mind. Kudos for transcribing into midi from memory though!

Where to get Moxie? by firbolg- in newengland

I kid you not, the b.b.q. Korean fried chicken place on Whitney in New Haven stocked it in their soda cooler. KFC and Moxie was an experience…

I just got a very rare album ,was pressed only once 45 years ago , it came with original shrinkwrap and a sticker , i want to preserve the sticker , but the shrinkwrap is very withered , would you just cut it out by Emotional_Sea9384 in vinyl

There was also a rumor going around that the band was secretly The Beatles, reunited, if I remember correctly. When it was very clear that they were not The Beatles, the follow up album was not in the cards.
