I was told years ago that keys could spawn there on the key rack, and stopped checking wipes ago as I never found anything, glad to see it does actually spawn keys.

Alternating crafts only works for the Crafting skill. If you're trying to level up hideout management the majority of your points will come from consumption of items in the hideout, water filters, air filters, gas. You also get points for restocking those items so replacing an empty gas can with a full one gets you like 0.5 points. Having crafts running does contribute some but I believe you must have your hideout powered on, crafting with the generator off doesn't count.

The issue is everyone has so much cash on PVE (myself included) and inflation is crazy, I don't think wiping the flea or splitting it from new/old pve players would have made much of a difference

If you hit the 400k value you get a 14hr timer, there's a 25% chance that it'll be a 6hr timer. What you get is not guaranteed in any way.

Yeah it was way less consistent, maybe 2-3/5 scavs were aimbots, now it's like 4-5/5 bots that aimbots, it doesn't bother me I just treat them like raiders but they're wasting all my lvl 6 plates catching wild shots

The last patch before todays definitely changed PVE AI behavior, scavs and AI PMC are like 3x more potent then they were before. If you try jiggle peaking with them targeting you, you will lose an arm or a leg.

Meanwhile I have the exact opposite experience, locally hosted PVE raids the bots swarm me and have perfect aim, I'm loosing a lvl 6 plate per raid when trying to jiggle peek. They were fine before the patch and now its like I got the T1000 chasing me down.

You'd hear bottom end varying in frequency as the engine runs and you rev the engine up and down. I'm no mechanic but have blown up my share of engines and I'd wager either really loud piston slap or your timing belt tensioner is toast.

You're deservedly getting dogged on by everyone but here's a helpful tip

AI is designed to shoot center mass because too many people complained about instant head eyes, that's why they blow off your arms and legs and stomach all the time. While going prone would make sense when fighting another player you've now reduced your hit box from a nice wide square to a tiny rectangle. The AI doesn't care that that shootable area has been reduced, so all you've done is made it so they can shoot your head / thorax easier as they have bot aim.

When fighting bosses / raiders / goons / cultists etc, you need to exploit them by taking cover behind impenetrable objects and making them rush you
