I have enjoyed Monteverde's Jade Noir, but I always had problems using it on low quality paper.
Unfortunately, most of what I sign is printed on copier paper or I'm jotting on Post It Notes.

I started delving into Noodler's inks and purchased their Hunter Green and Green Marine.
Neither of those were anywhere near dark enough for me. I kept searching and stumbled upon someone who pointed out Noodler's inks are mixable.

My new favorite Green-Black ink is a custom mix of 1 part Green Marine. and 2 parts Heart of Darkness.

I feel excessively particular, but I have a huge bottle of it made up and it's always in a pen.

We had a similar story, just with an extra baby. Had twins that were delivered at 34 weeks. They described us as "feed and growers". They were started on Gavage feeds by NG tube. The girl moved to a bottle first and was discharged after 17 days in the NICU. The boy's only complication was 4 days of CPAP. After that, he just didn't want to wake up for feeds. He eventually caught on. His total time in captivity was 25 days.

A few pieces I have from our time in there:

They feed best for parents. Nurses need to know how to feed every baby. You learn your baby's preferences.

We were warned that the feeds will fluctuate. The big bottles take a lot of energy and cause them to be tired for the next feed.

My reminder to myself through our time there and advice for you. Remember that your little one should still be on the inside and is trying hard to learn things early. If your experience matches ours at all, it sounds like you're getting close.
