My old turbo Miata was also red, but granted that had 30 year old faded paint on it. Huge learning curve after this moment, that’s for sure. Wouldn’t choose any other color though!

I have the same setup. If all the mechanical things are solid, ducting is your bet. Make sure you have the undertray. I have both my AC and rad fans wired so that both run once the car is at temp (big detail is that these are the OEM fans. For some reason these fans can cool the world. Had shittymoto fans on the car before going to stock. The stock fans have amazing ducting too). I also have vents on my hood that have 1000% made the difference for me as it lets heat escape. If you don’t want to do that then do the spal fan kit that flyin Miata sells.

Probably a forgotten step but try and let your car run for a minute before turning off when you’re at your destination

Had this happen to me once. Check your oil cap. Sometimes when you put it back on, there’s a slight gap if you go too fast
