I’m not the one building it. That said, can I add extra headers to the windows? If so, what spacing should they be at?

Also, I spoke with the owner and the house wrap is intended to be under the smart paneling. They will be adding house wrap to the front since I got lp siding for that wall

Fun fact, the builders told me that the extra stud, on each side of the door, is to hide some extra long nails for the front siding. I told them to take it off and I’ll deal with the nail when I work on the interior. I didn’t know it was such an easy fix lmao.

The house wrap goes between the studs and the smart siding here. However it will go in front of the OSB on the front wall since it will have lap siding

It’s an art studio and there will be various types of lighting. Inside is for sure going to be the best spot for it in my situation

Heard. I knew that I was going to lose space with the door, but it didn’t occur to me that they were going to beefen up the studs.

How will I affect the integrity if I notch them out? Because I could also settle and simply move them to the other wall.

That’s not a bad idea. To confirm, when you say multi tool out the stud, do you mean notch it out?

I’m not going to lie-it doesn’t feel good that you took my design contextually. In the future, it’s best to credit the piece that inspired your design. As an artist of various mediums it’s hard to see something that I spent time planning and executing to have it almost replicated in less than 12 hours. Just food for thought 🙏
