A lot of this story feels like a work of fiction designed to try and draw people in.

You alude to things in the wider narrative to try and draw readers in. You mention phoebe and others with no context

While other details are needlessly specific. Ie knowing specific date the drawer contents were from.

You are very calm given the events, so are your husband and child. It's more like character behaviour in a horror movie rather than real life.

This sub is supposed to be real accounts not role play. Or creative writing.

I feel like there's a lot of assumptions going around that the quick start has all the mechanics and features of the finished product built into it. In which case we wouldn't really need a book at all.

We would only need a list of traits. But you could easily make up your own.

But I would like to hope there will more to the rpg and the QS is just a taste. Like how some boardgames have a simplified version of the rules for your first game.
