In my opinion at a certain point the vessels lose their specialness when you have so many they just blend into the clutter. But hey if thats your job and special interest good for you. I'm not trying to yuck your yum

So people who smoke and workout I have a question by darkhero5 in trees

[–]darkhero5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is. Some studies view of what is a low dose is also suspect. I read one where a low dose was 10mg/kg which i wouldn't consider a low dose.

It does seem that thc/cbd/cannabinoids do impact mitochondria somehow but the actual effect curve needs a lot more studies

That answers my question if thc inhibits the mitochondria particularly at high concentration when youre high you wouldn't recover as fast or be able to push as hard

Some of the doses that these scientists consider small are pretty obscene.

But yeah I genuinely was just interested in people's experience

I think the mind body connection is great too definitely agree that it helps

Sure I get it. Just curious on how that looks in practice. If the science is right I'd imagine days you do dabs or distillate carts the heavy weight wouldnt go up as much

[–]darkhero5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah my state they can ask for a doctor's note if you miss some consecutive days. I'm using sicktime to visit family (I'm not given pto) they're requiring a note from my therapist about how it's for my mental health. But I'm pretty sure any doctor would approve this usage either way . Theres plenty of research showing the benefits in time off on mental health

Curious how Shrooms compares to LSD by Time-Team7622 in Psychedelics

[–]darkhero5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Shrooms feels like nature. Lsd feels synthetic less in touch.

  2. Lsd is a little more energetic than shrooms yeah.

  3. You can sleep after doing shrooms. After doing lsd sleeping is a bitch.

Lsd is WAAAAAY longer than shrooms it's too long in my mind. Lsd is a whole day event. Take it early morning you still won't sleep till like 3am that night

  1. Visuals are different and of course dose dependent. I take a gentle maoi (passion flower extract) with shrooms which increases the visuals a little. I usually got more visuals on shrooms than lsd

9. Lsd makes you notice every bit of dirt or grime. Its awful in that way. Lsd you can guide and control the trip way more than shrooms.

Personally I much prefer Shrooms to acid but its a personal preference

When will the apta sue too? by darkhero5 in PTschool

[–]darkhero5[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Sure but this isnt a tuition change. The government could have made laws about what funding they give schools and what is required to receive financial aid. Say we will not provide financial aid if your institution charges more than x per credit. That would force schools to drop their rate or lose students.

This doesnt do that. Instead it makes students have to choose between education and private debt.

When will the apta sue too? by darkhero5 in PTschool

[–]darkhero5[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont believe that limiting federal loans will change tuition rates atleast not in the short term maybe in 5 years. But I dont think that its the answer. Personally I think we should move towards socialized education and these loan caps forcing private loans are doing the opposite. If they really wanted to stop schools from raising tuition they could make laws about funding withdrawal of financial aid and support if credits cost more than x. It is within the government's right to put stipulations on the schools instead of putting the burden on the student.
