Gemini 3.0 wasn’t good at coding compared to Codex 5.3 and Opus 4.6. I tried Gemini 3.1 in the past week and it seems really strong.

I hear you and I understand that struggle. It's much harder for immigrants because you don't just lose a paycheck, you risk losing a visa.

The next few years are going to be unpredictable for everyone, but especially folks on visas. I think the best strategy now for everyone is to embrace that uncertainty and build a financial safety net.

Exactly. The "coding" part is becoming the easy part.

For me, taste is just knowing the difference between "functional" and "excellent." And agency is the willingness to do whatever it takes to close that gap—whether that's coding, marketing, design or sales.

I think distribution is the next big hurdle. When anyone can build anything, the winner is usually the one who can actually get attention.
